Separates Sweep Train Organza Wedding Skirt (002110494) #110494
I was sceptical about ordering following reading reviews but I have had a great experience. I ordered the skirt to go over my simple lace bridal dress as I wanted to have a fancy princess style during the ceremony and something simple for the evening.
The product is so much better than I expected I’d bought a petticoat which I really don’t need because the layers are enough.
Although I wear a size 14 normally I bought a size 20 due to being 7 months pregnant and will have it altered accordingly.
I live in the northwest of England and was concerned about shipping and it not arriving on time to be altered but it arrived around the 3 week mark which I was surprised at.
Really made up I will upload photos once it has been altered. I would encourage people to buy this product I will get my wish to be a princess for a day
Skirt is beautiful and great quality for the price. It was delivered on time as advertised. I would order from here again. I ordered a 16 because I find most items from overseas run small but this was true to size. I am a size 12 but didnt want to take chances. It can be taken in.
I ordered this is ivory, and it is perfect! I ordered a size 14, standard, because I plan on taking it to my local alterations lady to make it into a high low skirt... I want it at the knees in front and dragging the ground in back for a beach wedding. I bought a strapless, sweetheart neckline, tea length dress to wear underneath it, for the top. My plan is to take the skirt off after the wedding, and wear the tea length dress for the dinner reception.
I will post photos once I wear it, but I wanted to share a review, for anyone who is as skeptical as I was. The quality is great, it came shipped inside out for protection, and it got to me pretty quickly! Thank you, JJ’sHouse, from Luwannah in Texas!
I ordered this in white with the custom size option. I'll be taking in the waist a bit (my own fault for originally thinking I wanted to wear it more toward my hips) but I won't have to pay to have it hemmed (YAY!). I'm wearing a fairly substantial petticoat underneath, which I would definitely recommend. I'll also be making a sash to go with it. It's exactly as pictured and quality is as expected for the price. Anyone who tells you horror stories about ordering your dress online probably works for the wedding industry. I have a dress that I love for a very affordable price!
Loved this skirt! I got it in champagne. I wear a 12 but ordered a 16. It was more beautiful than I expected. I wore it for my wedding. I washed it after in cold water on gentle cycle and air dried it. It came out beautifully.
I absolutely love this skirt. The material makes a lot of noise when you move, but I adore how it made me look on my wedding day. Never got so many compliments in my life. The train gave me a lovely shape and the A-line highlighted my figure in all the right places. It's also surprisingly light for such an amount of fabric.
If you want to combine it with a specific top, do keep in mind that the white is VERY white so matching it exactly might be hard. JJ's is super chill about returning items, but you can always ask for a fabric sample / swatch to avoid the hassle.
I've worn it several times (wedding party, photo shoot, etc.) and it has survived a lot of abuse -- spilled drinks, heavy rain, wet grass... I was even able to machine wash it at home without any loss of quality! (The label says not to, though.)
If JJ's House were to make this in black, I'd buy another one to wear to all parties. ;-)
does anyone have pictures of them wearing this skirt they would be willing to show?
This skirt is exactly what I was expecting. I gave my own measurements and it fits perfectly! The layers move beautifully when you walk. I absolutely love this and can't wait to wear it on my wedding day!
